Job Description

The Enterprise Customer Success Manager works closely with top public sector clients to understand their operations, customize Samsara's IoT platform solutions, and ensure long-term success by improving safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their physical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with top customers to understand their fleet and operational challenges.
  • Develop and execute success plans with customers, outlining objectives, metrics, and timelines.
  • Conduct executive business reviews to assess past successes and align on future goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to analyze current operations and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Deeply understand and explain the capabilities of the Samsara platform to diverse business types.
  • Mentor and support the Customer Success and Support teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles and promote customer success and long-term partnership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem solving skills.
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering leadership, and day-to-day users of our software.
  • Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution.
  • Strong bias for action, the ability to think big, with insistence on high standards (preferred).
  • Experience serving and supporting large-scale solutions for Public Sector organizations (preferred).
  • Ability to manage high internal visibility demands with strong priority management and high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to understand deeply the Samsara platform’s capabilities and explain them to diverse businesses including field services, utilities, long-haul transportation, school buses, and others.

Annual OTE salary range of $97,877.50 to $131,600 USD
