Job Description

The role involves leading hardware product operations, managing product launches, supply chain coordination, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and resilience of Samsara's IoT hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the team responsible for successful hardware launches within the Operations organization.
Own cost, resilience, and supply chain enablement for new hardware products.
Collaborate with Hardware Operations, Program Managers, Engineering, and Product Design to maintain schedules and ensure successful ramp to mass production.
Manage relationships with external joint development manufacturers (JDMs) and engage with executives and business management systems.
Build and maintain systems to ensure rigor in cost, resilience, and sustainability goals.
Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing team.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
Proven experience managing new product launches within an operations organization.
Established people team management skills with emerging organizational leadership skills.
Experience building long-term relationships with key customers, both internal and external, and guiding others to design and deliver solutions.
Ability to plan strategy and roadmap for the next 1-2 years with relevant input and influence, create, and drive strategies beyond one's own team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA or relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate high-performing talent and engaged teams.
