Job Description
The role involves leading the product management team to develop and execute technology strategies that enhance Samsara's connected operations platform, with a focus on integrating AI, streamlining workflows, and driving cross-functional collaboration to support the company's growth in IoT-enabled physical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing Product Management team focused on delivering best-in-class products and experiences.
- Define the Sales Platform vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with GTM leadership to translate business needs into technology strategies and initiatives.
- Leverage AI and automation to optimize seller workflows, forecasting, and customer insights.
- Identify high-impact AI use cases and drive responsible AI adoption across the sales ecosystem.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure alignment.
- Evaluate trade-offs and prioritize resources based on business impact and strategic goals.
- Apply user-centered design and analytical methods to simplify workflows and improve usability.
- Champion and embody company values, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented culture.
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Product Management leadership for large-scale software or platform ecosystems with a strong background in Sales Technology including CRM, CPQ, CLM, EMS, and Quote-to-Cash systems.
- Proven experience defining AI-driven product strategies, working with ML AI engineering teams, and operationalizing AI use cases to improve business performance.
- Ability to influence across functions, communicate complex ideas clearly, and drive consensus at all levels of the organization.
- 12 years of experience driving digital product strategy and leading transformation across global, matrixed environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience operating in large-scale, fast-growth environments with $2 billion to $10 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) with subscription XaaS models.
