Job Description

The Digital Designer III at Samsara is responsible for creating high-quality digital experiences, including websites and campaigns, by designing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user engagement and support the company's growth in the IoT and digital transformation space.

Key Responsibilities

Own design execution for high-impact digital projects from concept to launch
Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for stakeholder alignment
Develop and maintain scalable design systems for digital touchpoints
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and intent
Use data and experimentation to drive continuous improvement of user experience

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in digital, web, or product design agency or in-house.
Advanced proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and web prototyping tools.
Portfolio showcasing responsive web, digital campaigns, and or product design.
Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Engineering.
Solid understanding of web accessibility, UX, and UI best practices.
Experience with systems thinking, visual storytelling, and digital brand design.
Experience working with design systems.
Experience with motion design.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (not required but helpful for collaboration).
Ability to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for stakeholder alignment.
Ability to develop and maintain scalable design systems for digital touchpoints.
Strong design craft, systems thinking, and digital marketing sensibility.
Excellent communication skills to partner closely with cross-functional teams and ensure design feasibility and intent.
Ability to demonstrate thoughtful use of AI tools to enhance creativity, speed, and quality of design work.
