Job Description
The Core Account Executive at Samsara is responsible for managing and closing complex, enterprise-sized sales deals with strategic customers in the IoT and operations industry, focusing on building long-term relationships, driving digital transformation, and delivering impactful solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop executive-level relationships within strategic accounts
- Manage customer engagements from prospecting to closing
- Demonstrate solution-based sales in complex sales campaigns
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and 100k ARR transactions.
- Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships.
- Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Willing and comfortable traveling to meet customers on a monthly basis.
- Developing executive-level relationships within strategic, named accounts.
- Owning customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Demonstrating excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns.
- Championing, role modeling, and embedding Samsara’s cultural principles.
- Focusing on Customer Success, Building for the Long Term, Adopting a Growth Mindset, Being Inclusive, and Winning as a Team.
- Ability and willingness to learn about businesses where previous knowledge is limited.
- Experience working with line of business stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, and IT.

Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range of $194,000 to $278,000 USD depending on city of residence
