This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, and building long-term relationships to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing deals.
Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
Target small to medium-sized accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
Handle high-volume transactional sales processes.
Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers.
Learn and understand the businesses and industries served.
Achieve sales quotas and contribute to team goals.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a closing sales role.
Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes.
Experience with high-volume cold calling.
Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments.
Demonstrated ability to handle and own a high-volume transactional sales process.
Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
