Job Description
An Associate Product Manager at Samsara participates in a structured training program to gain hands-on experience managing IoT-based products, working cross-functionally to develop, launch, and improve features that enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a formal training program to develop core product management skills.
- Gather customer and stakeholder feedback through structured beta programs.
- Manage the end-to-end launch of new features and measure their success.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams to develop new features.
- Manage a small product roadmap and lead the development of new features.
Requirements
- A minimum of a 3.5 GPA.
- Experience building a product, a startup, an application, a nonprofit or equivalent as a founding member or co-founder.
- Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical discipline, with the degree to be completed by the time of joining Samsara, with a target timeline of Spring 2026.
- Prior evidence of strong intellectual curiosity and leadership skills.
- Gleaning insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Bias-for-action and willingness to get hands dirty to help the team and have an impact on customers.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
