Job Description
The role involves developing and managing enterprise-level customer relationships to drive sales of Samsara's IoT solutions, focusing on complex sales processes, strategic prospecting, and long-term customer success in industries that rely on physical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop executive-level relationships within strategic accounts
- Manage customer engagements from prospecting to closing
- Demonstrate solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
- Mobilize virtual teams of stakeholders across departments to support sales
- Focus on customer success and build long-term relationships
- Conduct targeted prospecting to identify new business opportunities
- Learn and understand complex business operations across various industries
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas through full-cycle enterprise sales
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement, in complex accounts, with 1M ARR transactions.
- Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships.
- Strategic pursuit experience and comfortable with targeted prospecting, a new logo winner who lives the Hunter mentality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in French and very good English language skills.
- Ability to develop executive-level relationships within strategic, named accounts.
- Ability to own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Ability to demonstrate an excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns.
- Experience mobilizing a large matrix virtual team of business stakeholders including Operations, Finance, IT, Solution Engineer, and Account Development Representative.
- Willingness and ability to travel to visit customers onsite across the region as required.
- Ability to learn about businesses where previous knowledge is limited, demonstrating a willingness to put in the work.
- Ability to build genuine relationships with customers, earning trust over time.
- Experience in selling complex technology solutions such as IoT, SaaS, Telco, or similar to Enterprise customers.
