Job Description
The role involves developing and managing enterprise-level customer relationships to drive sales of Samsara's IoT solutions, focusing on complex, full-cycle sales processes, and promoting long-term customer success in industries that rely on physical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop executive-level relationships within strategic accounts
- Manage customer engagements from prospecting to closing
- Demonstrate a solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
- Mobilize cross-functional teams to support sales efforts
- Focus on customer success and build long-term relationships
- Conduct targeted prospecting to identify new business opportunities
- Learn and understand the operational needs of diverse industries
- Handle enterprise deal sizes and manage C-Level relationships
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas through full-cycle sales activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a full-cycle, Account Executive closing sales role.
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement, in complex accounts, with 1 million USD ARR transactions.
- Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships, demonstrating the ability to be a true Value Challenger Seller.
- Strategic pursuit experience and comfort with targeted prospecting, including winning new logos with a Hunter mentality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative, growth mindset.
- Ability to develop executive-level relationships within strategic, named accounts.
- Ability to own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to closing deals.
- Ability to demonstrate an excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns.
- Experience mobilizing a large matrix virtual team of business stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, IT, Solution Engineers, and Account Development Representatives.
- Passion for transformational technology in the world of operations.
- Excitement about solving new problems in innovative ways.
- Experience in selling complex technology solutions such as IoT, SaaS, Telco, or similar to Enterprise customers.
