Job Description

The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating sales opportunities through outbound outreach, building pipelines, and engaging with prospective customers to support the company's IoT solutions across various industries, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source pipelines for the EMEA business through outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Generate sales opportunities and engage prospective customers
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions in CRM Salesforce
  • Participate in trade shows and represent the Samsara brand to connect with prospects
  • Become a product expert and learn Samsara's sales approach
  • Support the sales team by creating high-quality sales engagements and supporting Account Executives
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects interested in Samsara's products
  • Develop skills through training and mentorship to progress through the ADR program levels

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in customer facing roles
  • 6-12 months of sales experience as a minimum
  • Highly motivated and committed, with strong desire to work in target driven sales
  • Proven track record of consistent over achievement of targets and expectations of previous roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Curious and able to ask insightful questions
  • A champion of a Growth Mindset
  • Highly proficient in English
  • Experience in closing-sales roles
  • Willingness to collaborate and influence in a win as a team environment
  • Willingness to work from our London office at 1 Alie Street, Aldgate East, E1 8DE twice per week
  • Total reliance on the legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location, if applicable
