Job Description

A Systems Engineer role focused on pre-sales technical support for storage and data platform solutions, involving customer engagement, technical architecture development, demonstrations, and partner enablement to drive sales and technical validation.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to support commercial opportunities and advance deals.
Translate customer requirements into technical architectures, proposals, and solution concepts.
Conduct technical presentations, demos, workshops, and follow-up sessions for customers and prospects.
Enable and coach channel partner SEs through workshops and joint customer engagements.
Validate technical fit for opportunities, including storage architecture and infrastructure considerations.
Collaborate with internal teams to solve customer challenges and enhance the buying experience.

Requirements

10 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, systems engineering, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role in the technology industry.
Strong grounding in storage and infrastructure fundamentals, with storage experience being strongly preferred; post-sales experience can also be relevant if paired with customer-facing commercial capability.
Good understanding of block, file, and object storage, along with related technologies such as Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Storage Area Network (SAN), virtualization, and VMware-style environments.
Ability to lead consultative technical discovery and engage confidently with customers, prospects, and partners in both business and technical conversations.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and credibly.
Experience working with or through channel partners, including partner enablement through workshops, bootcamps, and joint customer engagement.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.
