Job Description
The Project Manager II at RES leads complex ecological restoration projects from planning to completion, managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders to restore ecosystems and promote sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ecological restoration projects through all phases from planning to construction close-out
- Develop project schedules, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee field activities
- Resolve project challenges, mitigate risks, and communicate with stakeholders
- Review technical documents, prepare financial reports, and track project performance using management tools
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 6 years of experience in engineering, construction, or environmental project work
- 3 years of direct project management experience, including ownership of scope, schedule, and budget
- Proficiency with project management tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent
- Knowledge of environmental permitting and compliance
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
- Ability to lead complex projects independently, with limited supervision
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
- Comfort working in field settings, construction zones, and regulatory environments
