A summer IT Intern role supporting enterprise users, managing Microsoft 365 environments, troubleshooting networks and systems, and gaining hands-on experience in IT operations within a professional engineering setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support enterprise users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Windows and macOS systems
Assist with user provisioning, group management, and identity configuration using Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Design, configure, and secure SharePoint Online team sites for document management and access control
Troubleshoot basic network issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP for local and remote users
Collaborate with IT team members to support daily operations, system improvements, and technology initiatives
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the school year
Hands-on experience or relevant coursework in enterprise hardware and software troubleshooting
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft Endpoint Management
Experience working with Windows and macOS operating systems
Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP IP, DNS, and DHCP
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
