Job Description
The Market Development Manager Ecological Site Development at RES is responsible for building strategic client relationships, developing tailored ecological solutions, and driving revenue growth through environmental innovation and sustainable infrastructure projects aimed at ecosystem restoration and resource protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering collaborative relationships focused on sustainability goals
- Lead the development and delivery of tailored ecological solutions such as stream and wetland restoration, tree planting, and bioswales
- Coordinate project execution across business units to ensure alignment with client specifications
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client engagement through mitigation credits, advisory services, and infrastructure projects
- Support permitting and compliance efforts to reduce regulatory risks and streamline project approvals
- Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring client satisfaction and achievement of revenue targets
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, positioning the company as a preferred partner in sustainable development
Requirements
- Experience in business development and client development in mission critical construction GC EPC, AEC site civil, or environmental permitting mitigation services.
- Working knowledge of site selection or NEPA, CWA 404 wetlands mitigation, stormwater management, and DC development timelines.
- Existing book of business in the DC or Semi markets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and client growth goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
