Job Description
The Global Supply Manager will lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, and supply chain strategies for electronic components and PCBA assemblies in a high-voltage energy product manufacturing environment, ensuring supplier readiness, cost optimization, and successful production ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers for electronics, interconnects, and PCBA components
- Lead RFQ and RFP efforts, negotiate commercial terms, and establish agreements with suppliers
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure supplier readiness for NPI and mass production
- Monitor supplier performance and manage escalations related to quality, cost, or delivery
- Analyze BOM cost structure and propose sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate risks
- Support make-vs-buy, dual sourcing, and localization efforts across global supply chains
- Contribute to sourcing decisions, lead-time analysis, and manufacturing footprint strategies
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent technical background
- 4 to 6 years of sourcing or Global Supply Manager (GSM) experience, ideally in EV, energy, or high-voltage electronics industries
- Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers, contract manufacturing dynamics, and commodity strategy
- Experience negotiating commercial and technical terms with suppliers and contract manufacturers (CMs)
- Willingness to travel internationally to supplier and contract manufacturing (CM) sites as needed
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, including climbing, standing, stooping, or typing, while protected by PPE
- Ability to work in challenging conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes
- Occasional work on weekends, nights, or being on-call as a regular part of the job
- Occasional travel requirements

Compensation/salary range: $134,000 - $184,000 USD
