Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate role focused on providing tax services related to blockchain and cryptocurrency industries, working within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm to help clients maximize opportunities and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance related to blockchain and cryptocurrency activities
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for clients involved in fast-growing industries
- Provide strategic tax advice to optimize clients' opportunities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements
- Possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform senior-level tax associate responsibilities within a CPA and advisory firm specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in tax preparation, planning, and consulting, preferably within a CPA or accounting firm environment.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to blockchain and cryptocurrency clients.
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice tailored to fast-growing industries such as blockchain and cryptocurrency.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members across multiple locations and languages.
- Physical ability to perform work that may require sitting for extended periods, working at a computer, and attending meetings, both in-office and remotely.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of tax software and technology tools used in tax preparation and planning, with a willingness to adapt to new systems and processes.
