Job Description
The Staff Data Analyst will analyze and interpret people-related data to support strategic decision-making within Aurora's People Analytics team, focusing on improving hiring, retention, and performance through data insights and platform management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze people-related data from multiple sources
- Manage the people analytics platform and drive its product roadmap
- Collaborate with business leaders to address organizational challenges using data insights
- Develop and productize people insights for decision-making by People team and business leaders
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives related to hiring, retention, performance, and culture
- Build data models to analyze retention and performance metrics
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy policies
Requirements
- 8 years of experience including 5 years working with people data in an applied setting
- Strong proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software eg Tableau, PowerBI or people analytics software eg Visier, OneModel, Crunchr
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into compelling insights for a wide range of stakeholders
- Working understanding of statistical concepts and techniques e.g. regression, cluster analysis, hypothesis testing, longitudinal methods, etc.

Base salary range: $143,000 - $229,000 per year
