Job Description
A senior software programmer responsible for leading development teams, designing and developing custom software and SharePoint applications to support critical government missions, while promoting automation and mentoring developers to ensure secure and high-performing code delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a development sprint team for the Department of Justice
- Design, develop, and evolve custom software and SharePoint-based applications
- Streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure rapid delivery of secure, high-performing code
- Mentor developers and influence the technology stack supporting national security objectives
Requirements
- Experience leading a development sprint team for software projects, with a focus on design, development, and evolution of custom software and SharePoint-based applications.
- Ability to design, develop, and evolve custom software and SharePoint-based applications that support over 2,200 endpoints.
- Proven track record of streamlining the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by championing an automated-first mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure the rapid delivery of secure, high-performing code.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership within a team.
- Strong understanding of building solutions that support critical national security objectives.
- Experience working in a government or mission-critical environment, supporting complex and important mission sets.
