A Senior Software Programmer responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of custom software and SharePoint applications to support government missions, with a focus on automation, security, and high performance, while mentoring developers and influencing the technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a development sprint team for the Department of Justice
- Design, develop, and evolve custom software and SharePoint-based applications
- Streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure rapid delivery of secure, high-performing code
- Mentor developers and influence the technology stack supporting national security objectives
Requirements
- Experience leading a development sprint team for software projects, preferably within a government or national security context.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and evolve custom software applications and SharePoint-based applications that support over 2,200 endpoints.
- Demonstrated expertise in streamlining the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with an automated-first mindset to ensure rapid delivery of secure, high-performing code.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership within a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of building secure and high-quality software solutions supporting critical national security objectives.
- Ability to influence and support the technology stack used in software development for mission-critical applications.
