Job Description
The Senior Network Engineer supports mission-critical government networks related to national security, managing complex architectures and routing schemes to ensure high system availability for the Department of Justice's classified and security division networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Department of Justice National Classified Services network infrastructure.
- Ensure 99% system availability for mission-critical operations.
- Manage complex network architecture and routing schemes.
- Support local D.C. sites and remote locations within the network.
Requirements
- Support the Department of Justice DOJ National Classified Services program as a Senior Network Engineer.
- Ensure 99% system availability for mission-critical operations of the Justice Consolidated Office Network (JCON) and National Security Division Networks (NSDNet).
- Manage complex architectural challenges related to network infrastructure.
- Manage sophisticated routing schemes within the network environment.
- Support both local D.C. sites and remote locations as part of network operations.
- Apply technical expertise to support a mission that directly supports national security and the rule of law.
