Job Description
The Data Governance Lead is responsible for establishing and evolving an enterprise-wide data governance framework for the Department of Defense's acquisition data, transforming data into a trusted and strategic asset to support national security missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute an enterprise-wide Acquisition Data Governance Framework.
- Develop and maintain a cross-functional charter and data governance artifacts for acquisition data sub-domains.
- Operate and evolve the data governance council to oversee data management practices.
- Transform acquisition data into a governable, trusted, and discoverable strategic asset.
Requirements
- Establishing a formal and executable, enterprise-wide Acquisition Data Governance Framework and executing and evolving the framework as required.
- Developing and maintaining a cross-functional charter that codifies the data governance framework.
- Creating and managing a fully operational data governance council.
- Producing and publishing data governance artifacts for the acquisition data sub-domains.
- Transforming data from an unreliable byproduct into a governable, trusted, and discoverable strategic asset.
