Job Description
This role involves driving growth, activation, and go-to-market strategies for Raptor Maps' new NERC compliance product, focusing on customer insights, optimizing user onboarding, and executing marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product development and prioritize features.
- Build and optimize the onboarding and activation processes to drive user success and first value realization.
- Design and execute experiments to improve conversion rates from trial to paid and enhance activation metrics.
- Develop in-product educational experiences to help users discover and utilize features effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing to align in-product experiences with lifecycle campaigns and demand generation efforts.
- Build operational infrastructure, support workflows, and training materials for customer success.
- Track and analyze product-market fit signals such as NPS, retention cohorts, and usage patterns.
- Experiment with and optimize go-to-market strategies to drive sustainable growth.
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, content, and conversion funnels.
- Engage in hands-on execution of marketing activities including ad creation, email campaigns, and demos.
Requirements
- Energy and execution mindset - you move fast, get things done, and don t wait for perfect conditions, escalating where appropriate
- Entrepreneurial background - you ve built something from scratch startup, side project, new business unit and understand 0-to-1 dynamics
- Growth experience - 3-5 years at product-led growth B2B SaaS companies, with hands-on experience running experiments and optimizing funnels
- Data-driven approach - comfortable with analytics tools, A/B testing, conversion analysis, and cohort tracking
- Self-sufficient execution - you can write ads, build email campaigns, create slide decks, run demos, and close deals
- Customer focused - you thrive on customer conversations and derive genuine energy from solving their problems
- AI-forward product development awareness - you understand evolving best practices in AI-native product development and see this as an opportunity to build lean, AI-powered operational models from the ground up
- Comfortable with ambiguity - you see uncertainty as an opportunity, not a roadblock
- Must have experience in owning onboarding and activation experience across all user segments, including self-serve, pilot customers, and enterprise
- Must have experience in building operational infrastructure, customer success workflows, support documentation, and training materials
- Must be able to synthesize customer feedback from sales calls, onboarding sessions, and usage data, and identify patterns in feature requests, objections, and activation barriers
- Must be able to present insights to the Director of Product for roadmap prioritization
- Must be able to build and optimize conversion funnels from awareness through activation
- Must be able to design and run experiments to optimize conversion from trial to paid
- Must be able to track and improve key activation metrics such as time-to-value, feature adoption, and engagement
- Must be able to collaborate with marketing to align in-product experiences with lifecycle campaigns
- Must be comfortable with executing digital marketing campaigns including ads on LinkedIn and Google, content creation, and email campaigns
- Must be able to build in-product education experiences that help users discover features matching their needs
- Must be able to work directly with the Director of Product to validate product-market fit and build foundational systems for growth
- Must have experience in owning growth, activation, or product-led growth at a 0-to-1 company
- Must be familiar with analytics tools, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and conversion tracking
- Must be comfortable with hands-on execution including writing ads, building email campaigns, creating slide decks, running demos, and closing deals
- Must have customer-facing experience and thrive on customer conversations
- Must understand evolving best practices in AI-native product development
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and seeing uncertainty as an opportunity
- Must be willing to work remotely within the lower 48 states
- Must be able to communicate honestly and effectively with team members and across the organization
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership in their role
