Job Description
The role involves designing and delivering complex data storage solutions, acting as a technical advisor to sales and customers, and automating data management processes to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex professional services solutions related to data migration, replication, and clustering
- Act as a technical consultant to support pre- and post-sales strategies, including customer evaluations and proofs of concept
- Develop automation scripts and solutions to integrate storage solutions into customer environments and streamline processes
- Advise sales and engineering teams on emerging storage and data management technologies and best practices
- Contribute technical expertise to sales documents, proposals, and architecture-level solutions
Requirements
- 10 years of overall technical experience and 5 years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) solutions architect.
- Expert-level knowledge of Storage and Data Management, including current and emerging storage architectures such as FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, etc.
- Significant experience with replication, clustering, and disaster recovery technologies such as Zerto, Veeam, and Veritas.
- Proficiency in developing and applying scripting for system integrations and process automation, particularly using Python, Ansible, and Terraform with APIs.
- Extensive experience managing and integrating systems on various operating systems, including Windows, AIX, and Linux.
- Familiarity with VMWare ESX SRM and Hyper-V environments.
- Strong background in data center migrations and consolidations, with the ability to design and implement complex, highly performant technical solutions.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts such as Nexus and ACI, and multi-vendor server storage platforms.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive communications, especially in a customer-facing role.
