Job Description
The Application Engineer at Rondo Energy is responsible for collaborating with customers and internal teams to design and evaluate zero-carbon industrial heat solutions using Rondo's heat battery technology, conducting technical and economic analyses, and supporting project development to accelerate industrial decarbonization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with customers and external partners to identify opportunities and define project requirements.
- Conduct site evaluations, process integrations, techno-economic simulations, and feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Develop customized system configurations to generate customer value based on specific client needs.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Energy Markets teams to analyze products, market trends, and technical evaluations.
- Provide technical support during customer presentations to communicate solutions' benefits and value.
Requirements
- An education background in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a related role.
- Basic proficiency in coding Python and Visual Basic.
- Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct toward the highest priority tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Innovative and results-oriented thinking.
- Outstanding presentation and oratory skills.
- Ability to connect and build trust with a wide variety of customers or potential customers.
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed for customer or investor meetings.
- Applicants must be entitled to work in Dubai or Abu Dhabi; visa sponsorships or relocation costs cannot be supported.
