Job Description
The role involves leading the development and execution of a strategic product vision for enterprise file storage solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving business growth through innovative technology and customer-centric approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the file storage portfolio.
- Drive the execution of the product strategy to build a high-growth business.
- Assess market landscape, customer needs, and technology trends to inform product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define go-to-market strategies and use cases.
- Work closely with engineering to prioritize enhancements and shape the product roadmap.
- Gather customer feedback and conduct market analysis to make informed roadmap decisions.
- Act as a strategic advisor on technical and business matters for the executive team.
- Serve as a spokesperson and evangelist for the product and company.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of Product Management experience with a proven track record of bringing products to market and growing the business.
- Strong knowledge of file storage, NFS SMB protocols, and associated use cases.
- Solid understanding of NAS vendors and the ecosystem.
- Deep, technical understanding of enterprise storage environments, deployments, and use cases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling business and technical presentations to internal and external audiences including customers and partners.
- Ability to operate as a change agent in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to create programs, services, and ecosystem partnerships that provide end-to-end solutions for customers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; a business degree is desirable.
- Experience assessing the competitive and market landscape from both a technical and business perspective to accurately predict trends.
- Experience creating and articulating a clear product vision and a sustainable strategy based on customer needs, competitive analysis, and technology trends.
- Experience driving the execution of product strategy to build a high-growth business.
- Experience gathering customer feedback, conducting market analysis, and evaluating product use to inform roadmap decisions and trade-offs.
- Experience acting as a strategic advisor on technical and business-related matters for executive teams.
- Ability to create and communicate compelling go-to-market models in collaboration with customers, partners, CTO, sales, and marketing teams.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Santa Clara, CA office in accordance with company policies.
