Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, and validating Oracle solutions using Pure Storage technologies to support enterprise data storage, database performance, and data protection needs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the solutions roadmap for Oracle solutions, including design, development, validation, and documentation.
- Develop technical collateral such as reference architectures, best practices, white papers, and solution briefs.
- Showcase Oracle solutions through lab validations, demonstrations, and customer proofs of concept.
- Present solutions to customers, partners, and internal teams, translating technical details into business value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and marketing to align solutions with market strategies.
- Support technical marketing efforts by creating content, presentations, and messaging highlighting solution value.
- Create and manage professional technical documentation for Oracle solutions.
- Work with field teams to understand customer challenges and deliver practical, impactful solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues within Oracle environments and storage systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in database architecture, Oracle solutions, and related technologies.
- Proven ability to execute on strategies and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and impactful solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences.
- Demonstrated adaptability to learn new technologies and respond to evolving organizational needs.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the real world with Oracle Database Administration (DBA) and high-level certifications.
- In-depth, holistic knowledge of Oracle, Virtualization, Networking, Storage Protocols, Filesystems, Scripting languages, and Operating Systems.
- Understanding of block, file, and object storage protocols such as FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, S3 and their application in high performance environments.
- Expertise in hybrid cloud platforms, including public cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud virtualization technologies such as Nutanix, VMWare, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Real-world experience with Oracle Solutions in both Vendor and Customer environments, including building, designing, validating, troubleshooting, and documenting comprehensive solutions that address technical and business needs across the software and infrastructure stack.
- Ability to communicate technical value in collaboration with marketing teams to create impactful content, presentations, and messaging for target audiences including buyers, influencers, and decision makers.
- In-depth knowledge of performance optimization, including IO protocols, pathways, tuning practices, and benchmarking to derive maximum performance in real-world environments.
- Understanding of emerging trends in vectorization, data engineering, and analytics.
- Understanding of large-scale Oracle environments and enterprise customer issues related to building, optimizing, and protecting Oracle data system architectures for efficiency, performance, scale, and resilience.
- Proficiency in Linux, Bash, Python scripting, IP networking, and observability management tools used by DBAs and Systems Engineers.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for performance issues.

Salary range: $249,000 - $398,000 USD
