A Senior Tax Analyst responsible for supporting global tax provision, U.S. income tax compliance, process improvements, and automation initiatives within a fast-paced, multinational public company environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and prepare global tax provision and related disclosures (ASC 740, 10-Q, 10-K).
Manage U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance, including estimated payments and extensions.
Review and prepare tax workpapers and corporate tax returns.
Coordinate with external advisors and assist with audits.
Calculate and document R&D tax credits, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation for tax processes.
Support system enhancements, technical tax analysis, and special projects related to tax reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
4 years of public accounting or private corporate tax experience, with experience in multinational publicly traded companies considered a plus
Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. corporate income tax compliance
Experience preparing or reviewing tax provisions and Forms 10-Q and 10-K disclosures
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret complex tax issues
Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and quality
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability
Experience supporting U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions, and preparing and reviewing tax workpapers
Experience supporting R&D tax credit calculations and documentation, partnering with internal stakeholders and external specialists
Ability to support and assist with IRS and state audits, including information gathering and response coordination
Experience with process improvements and automation opportunities related to income tax processes, leveraging tools such as Alteryx and advanced Excel
Ability to prepare and review corporate tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filings and payments across all relevant jurisdictions
Knowledge of using Alteryx, NetSuite, SAP, and Zuora is a plus

Annual base salary range of $114,000 to $171,000 USD
