Job Description
The role involves designing, proposing, and implementing advanced IT infrastructure solutions for customers, leveraging deep technical expertise and industry knowledge, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support sales and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deeply understand customer business requirements, technical needs, systems, environments, and service history to develop optimal IT infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and propose scalable, resilient, AI cloud-ready enterprise data platform migration solutions.
- Create detailed solution architectures, operational models, and comprehensive proposals aligned with customer goals and requirements.
- Develop testing frameworks, validation plans, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful deployment of solutions.
- Provide technical consultation and support during implementation, including addressing complex requirements such as data migration, replication, and automation.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery, including acting as project manager for smaller projects.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of customer business requirements, technical needs, systems, environments, and service history to build, propose, and deliver optimal IT infrastructure solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Solution SEs, Product Managers, Technical Support, and Engineering to formulate and sell advanced service solutions.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions, including solution design, development, and proposal creation, with a focus on scalable, resilient, AI cloud-ready Enterprise Data Platform migration solutions.
- Ability to develop and document detailed solution architectures and operational models that meet customer-specific requirements.
- Experience creating comprehensive customer proposals, including transformation plans, testing frameworks, runbooks, validation plans, and risk-optimized transformation roadmaps.
- Support for the implementation of advanced service solutions during pre-sales and post-sales phases, serving as a technical point of contact for project-specific questions.
- Provision of technical advice related to implementation and construction, including complex requirements such as replication, clustering, data migration, and automation scripting.
- Experience managing project risks, budgets, and timelines, and leading project delivery, including project management for smaller projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure operations or infrastructure environment automation and efficiency operations.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with major cloud solutions such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with data center migration and platform integration.
- Understanding of Enterprise Storage protocols, fundamental networking concepts, virtualization solutions, and operating systems including UNIX, Windows, and Linux.
- Experience with disaster recovery (DR), cybersecurity, and container technologies.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Perl, PowerShell, and Python, and operational implementation using REST API.
- Experience with monitoring design using monitoring tools, IAM, and authentication management with Active Directory (AD).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to understand and deliver information at the expected level of detail and in the expected sequence, with active listening skills to grasp customer expectations and information.
- Experience engaging in non-technical dialogue with mid-to-senior level clients regarding business challenges.
- Strong desire for learning new technologies and willingness to share knowledge with others.
- Creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to manage external and internal stakeholders and report on project progress.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, SNIA certification programs, CompTIA Storage, or vendor-specific storage certifications.
- Autonomous and proactive mindset, with logical and rational thinking processes.
- Strong team player with a professional demeanor, proactive in offering opinions and clarifying ambiguities in meetings.
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
- Business-level proficiency in English, including reading and writing, with a strong desire to improve.
