Job Description
This role involves designing and leading the development of scalable CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity and reliability in a high-scale, cloud-native environment at Pure Storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop CI/CD frameworks, code merge pipelines, and test infrastructure automation.
- Architect and optimize high-scale pipelines to improve code management and reduce deployment time.
- Create self-service diagnostic tools for root-cause analysis in complex test environments.
- Manage fleet-scale orchestration for capacity planning, monitoring, and operations of test infrastructure.
- Prototype next-generation developer tools and scale Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices within CI/CD ecosystems.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews, mentor team members, and uphold high standards for code quality.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering expertise with extensive experience in Python, Go, or Rust, and a proven track record of architecting extensible, code-first infrastructure from the ground up.
- Mastery of the DevOps ecosystem, including hands-on experience with CI/CD tools Jenkins, Gerrit, GitLab and modern test frameworks Pytest, JUnit at enterprise scale.
- Cloud-native infrastructure fluency, specifically regarding Containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for large-scale datacenter management.
- Technical leadership and mentorship experience, with the ability to lead complex debugging efforts and drive technical consensus across cross-functional development and QA teams.
- An automation-first mindset that prioritizes maintainable software design and a commitment to simplifying workflows to delight internal developer customers.
- Ability to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
