Job Description
The role involves supporting and enabling partner organizations through technical leadership, coaching, and strategic collaboration to promote and implement Pure Storage solutions, ultimately driving business growth and technical excellence within the partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Pure Storage as a trusted technical advisor to partners and their customers.
- Align Pure's go-to-market strategy with partner objectives and develop regional technical account plans.
- Build and strengthen relationships with partner SE communities and facilitate technical collaboration.
- Conduct joint sales calls, architectural discussions, and technical reviews with partner SEs.
- Enable partner SEs through training, coaching, and technical enablement to promote Pure solutions.
- Provide technical support for partner-led opportunities and transition ownership to support teams when appropriate.
- Mentor new PTMs and partner SEs to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the partner ecosystem.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive technologies and Pure’s differentiators in storage and data solutions.
- Participate in partner and distributor business reviews to assess technical maturity and identify gaps.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partner technical strategies and coordinate training activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience enabling SI partners and SE organizations to promote enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions to large enterprise accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Proven cross-functional experience and excellent communication skills to drive consensus across groups both internally and within the channel partner organizations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively articulate Pure s value and technical leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, prioritize effectively, think big picture, and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues.
- Thorough understanding of the architecture, design, and implementations of multi-tiered client-server computing solutions.
- Ability to present in front of large audiences.
- On-site work required.
- Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN.
- Client-facing experience in proposing AI/ML solutions (preferred).
- Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, NoSQL alternatives (preferred).
