The Principal Product Manager for FlashArray ST leads the development and execution of the multi-year strategy for a high-performance, ultra-low-latency data storage platform, focusing on transforming Tier-0 transactional workloads and driving market adoption through collaboration with engineering and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the multi-year strategy and roadmap for the FlashArray ST NVMe-oF platform
Translate customer feedback and telemetry into hardware, software, and integration requirements to improve system performance and resiliency
Partner with customers and internal teams to validate workload requirements and develop scalable sales strategies
Manage the product lifecycle from concept through growth and end-of-life transitions
Establish competitive advantages and develop tools and configurations to enable field teams to win
Requirements
Proven track record of owning the full lifecycle of performance-critical infrastructure, such as Tier-0 storage, low-latency databases, or high-performance compute platforms.
Deep technical mastery and sophisticated understanding of modern storage stacks including NVMe, NVMe-oF, RDMA, and the ability to navigate trade-offs between flash media durability, RAID erasure coding, and system throughput.
Ability to translate demanding workload requirements from environments like Oracle, SAP HANA, and Kubernetes into concrete system-level SLAs for data protection and availability.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and senior architects, using data-driven insights, telemetry, and benchmarks to drive investment trade-offs.
Experience in defining and championing multi-year strategy for enterprise storage platforms and owning the roadmap for NVMe-oF platforms.
Experience translating complex customer feedback and telemetry into hardware, software, and host integration requirements to improve system performance, resiliency, and operational simplicity.
Experience partnering with key customers in financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors to validate workload requirements such as IOPS and latency SLOs, and turning early-stage POC wins into scalable sales playbooks.
Experience leading the product lifecycle from initial concept and beta to growth and end-of-life transitions, balancing performance, supply chain, and operational considerations.
Ability to establish competitive superiority by developing configuration rules and observability tools to differentiate the product and enable field teams to win.
Educational background or equivalent experience demonstrating expertise in enterprise systems and performance-critical infrastructure.
Willingness and ability to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office, in accordance with company policies.
