The Manager of Data Center Site Services oversees the physical infrastructure and operations of multiple data centers, ensuring high availability, capacity planning, team leadership, and site evolution to support the company's scalable data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of physical infrastructure across multiple data center sites, ensuring maximum uptime and deployment efficiency.
Forecast and allocate power and space resources to meet hardware deployment demands.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse, distributed team of data center site service experts.
Oversee supply chain logistics and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure timely hardware delivery and integration.
Lead site expansion and decommissioning projects, translating business growth strategies into physical infrastructure changes.
Requirements
Proven ability to lead multi-site data center operations, with deep expertise in power distribution, cooling efficiency, and high-density racking strategies.
Advanced skills in managing hardware lifecycles and infrastructure forecasting within high-availability, enterprise, or hyperscale environments.
A track record of building and developing inclusive, technical teams, with the ability to manage performance and morale across geographically dispersed locations.
The ability to navigate ambiguous, fast-paced environments and create scalable systems out of complex manual processes.
Strong communication skills used to align goals between Facilities, Security, and Engineering stakeholders to drive unified organizational outcomes.
Experience owning the end-to-end lifecycle of physical infrastructure across multiple sites, establishing standardized KPIs and workflows to ensure maximum uptime and deployment velocity.
Experience strategizing capacity planning by forecasting and distributing power and space resources to meet the demands of next-generation hardware deployments.
Experience managing strategic relationships with external partners and overseeing complex supply chain logistics to ensure hardware arrives, is staged, and integrated without bottlenecking engineering timelines.
Experience spearheading site expansion and decommissioning projects, translating business growth strategies into physical transformations.
Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Dallas, Texas office in compliance with company policies.
