This role involves leading SAP Financials transformation projects, optimizing financial processes, and implementing integrations such as SAP S/4HANA, Multi-Bank Connectivity, and Vertex to enhance global banking, tax compliance, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities (GL, AR, AP, AA, CO) aligned with business goals
Lead the integration of SAP S/4HANA Finance with Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) and Vertex for automation and compliance
Identify and deliver process improvements across SAP Financials, including cash visibility, reconciliation, and tax reporting
Manage full lifecycle SAP Financials projects, including MBC implementation and bank onboarding
Translate finance and accounting requirements into technical specifications and build secure, scalable SAP integrations
Troubleshoot complex issues to ensure system scalability, security, and compliance
Configure and manage Vertex for VAT, GST, sales use, and withholding tax across regions
Implement and manage SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity for treasury operations and real-time cash management
Requirements
Extensive hands-on experience across SAP FI CO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Proven ability to configure and manage Vertex for VAT, GST, Sales Use, and Withholding Tax across regions.
Deep understanding of finance principles and success implementing SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) for treasury operations and real-time cash management.
Skilled in converting business requirements into functional technical designs and leading complex SAP projects through all lifecycle stages.
Strong problem-solving skills focused on practical, scalable financial solutions.
Clear communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams, including mentoring and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on identifying root causes and designing practical, effective, and scalable financial system solutions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience articulating technical concepts clearly to non-technical executive and business stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate within diverse, cross-functional organizational structures.
Experience designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance integrations with Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) and Vertex for seamless global banking and accurate tax determination.
Experience overseeing MBC implementation, including bank onboarding, configuration of SWIFT, SFTP, EBICS, and end-to-end testing to ensure compliant global transaction flows.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure long-term scalability, security, and compliance of SAP Financials.
Knowledge of internal standards, SWIFT CSP, and regional tax regulations relevant to SAP Financials implementations.
Work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
