Job Description
This role involves supporting partner engagement and operational processes for distribution resale partners in Japan, ensuring smooth transactions, onboarding, and process improvements within a fast-paced, innovative data storage company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operational excellence in partner engagement and processes
- Manage deal registration approvals, rejections, extensions, reassignments, and resolve related issues
- Handle inbound queries from partners and direct them to appropriate departments
- Assist in onboarding new resellers and distributors
- Evaluate and improve partner-related operational processes
- Document new processes introduced for partners
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese language skills are required, and the candidate must be comfortable with email and chat communication in English to gain in-region expert support.
- Ability to learn and understand internal and external tools, partner programs, and processes quickly to solve partner inquiries.
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to multi-task and maneuver through solving different types and levels of issues to expedite resolution.
- Excellent collaboration skills to lead conversations with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, requiring teamwork to solve partner inquiries.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to improve internal and external processes to ensure mid- to long-term success of partner engagements.
- Experience in managing and improving partner-related processes, including handling deal registration approvals, rejections, extensions, reassignments, and issues.
- Experience in onboarding new resellers and distributors, and managing partner program details and partner portal tools.
- Ability to evaluate and document new operational processes as they are introduced for partners.
- Physical and mental ability to perform the duties associated with managing operational excellence and partner engagement activities.
