Job Description
This role involves leading and managing global physical security and EHS programs for a high-growth data storage company, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and information across multiple sites while driving strategic planning, operational excellence, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute global strategies for Physical Security and EHS programs.
- Build and lead a global team of security and EHS professionals.
- Design, operate, and optimize physical security systems and protocols.
- Conduct threat and risk assessments and ensure site readiness.
- Lead incident response, investigations, and crisis management.
- Coordinate physical security with digital security controls and compliance standards.
- Oversee EHS programs to ensure legal compliance and safety standards.
- Implement training, audits, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee security operations and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in corporate security and EHS leadership, including 5 years managing global programs in technology environments.
- Expertise with enterprise PACS VMS, support center operations, incident management, and security officer guard-force programs.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO, and data-center security standards.
- Proven ability to influence across functions and regions with strong analytical and executive communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CSP, CIH are preferred.
- Ability to travel 25-30% globally.
