Job Description
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical data processing services within a distributed cloud environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance data flow and system resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate mission-critical processing services for data flow between edge devices and the cloud platform.
- Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to create scalable and resilient system designs from requirements to deployment.
- Innovate by experimenting with new technologies and architectural patterns to enhance system performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality software development practices, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Resolve complex interoperability issues between system components to ensure platform availability and accessibility worldwide.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in architecting, implementing, and testing various product components within large-scale, complex distributed systems.
- Proficiency in a modern backend programming language such as Java or Kotlin, with a proven ability to write secure, high-performance, and maintainable code.
- Understanding of distributed systems principles, networking infrastructure, and Linux operating environments.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- A proven track record of thriving in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment, with a passion for continuous learning and quickly mastering new technologies.
- Work from the Prague, Czechia office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
