The role involves leading and managing an executive sponsorship program to strengthen relationships with strategic accounts, requiring strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and program execution at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end Executive Sponsorship Program (ESP) operating model, including account selection, prioritization, sponsor matching, engagement planning, and lifecycle governance.
Design and implement structured executive engagement plans, including creating briefing materials and supporting high-stakes meetings.
Provide sponsor enablement through coaching, outreach frameworks, and relationship-building best practices.
Capture and synthesize insights from executive engagements to inform sales, product, and customer success strategies.
Maintain and govern Salesforce data, dashboards, and reporting to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
Design and operationalize structured engagement models, ensuring strategic account prioritization and program ownership.
Communicate effectively with senior executives, influencing and guiding stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
Manage lifecycle processes, CRM hygiene, and reporting frameworks to support program execution and tracking.
Requirements
Seven (7) years of experience in executive engagement, strategic programs, enterprise account leadership, or executive briefing environments.
Experience partnering with C-level stakeholders.
Proven program management experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Salesforce proficiency required, including reporting and dashboard experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed, estimated at 15-25% to support executive engagement and strategic account initiatives.
Ability to design and operationalize structured engagement models and demonstrate strong prioritization skills across strategic enterprise accounts.
Strong operational discipline with experience maintaining CRM hygiene, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Experience working directly with senior executives and navigating C-level environments with confidence and discretion.
Exceptional executive presence, including polished, professional communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely at an executive level.
Demonstrated ability to influence, advise, and guide senior stakeholders with credibility and professionalism.
Strong lifecycle management and follow-through skills, with experience in managing engagement processes from intake to outcome capture.
Experience establishing and enforcing program standards, cadence structures, and governance practices.
Ability to synthesize insights from executive engagements and share themes, blockers, competitive intelligence, and product feedback with relevant teams.
Experience owning and managing Salesforce as the system of record for sponsor assignments, engagement plans, meeting notes, outcomes, and opportunity tracking, including defining data fields and hygiene standards.
Proven ability to lead structured discussions, set expectations, and maintain focus in executive forums.
High professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information.
Willingness to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
