The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the Georgia region, driving business growth through strategic sales planning, team development, and building strong relationships with channel partners and clients in the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and ensure alignment with company values
Recruit, develop, and manage the performance of account executives and related team members
Manage territory planning, forecasting, and pipeline development to meet sales goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key stakeholders
Drive sales activities, support sales presentations, and coordinate resources to close business
Achieve and over-achieve sales quotas, including bookings and new logo acquisition
Conduct regular reviews of activities and pipeline health to ensure sales targets are met
Utilize CRM and other tools effectively for sales management and reporting
Requirements
Eight (8) years of successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment.
Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving.
Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
Experience with CRM and other online tools.
Ability to deliver business results including annual bookings goal, new logo production, and AE participation at or above goal.
Ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level.
Willingness to travel extensively for field activities.
Living in or willing to relocate to the Greater Atlanta Metro area.
