The role involves providing technical sales guidance and enablement for AI HPC solutions, focusing on unstructured data, storage, and networking, while engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive adoption and success of Pure Storage's innovative data storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and enablement on AI HPC solutions, unstructured data opportunities, and customer environments.
Create technical content such as solutions walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, and qualification guides.
Conduct webinars, events, and presentations with partners, vendors, and customers.
Participate in customer calls, demos, proof of concepts, and internal strategy sessions.
Stay current on product advancements, solutions briefs, and develop enablement plans.
Influence solutions roadmap and provide field feedback to product management.
Oversee field testing and document insights to bridge solution gaps.
Assist in troubleshooting post-sales with expert knowledge of solutions.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams for feedback and communication.
Act as a technical evangelist, inspiring the field and attracting customer adoption of Pure Storage technology.
Requirements
Deep knowledge about integrations with AI HPC with proven expertise in AI ML workloads and frameworks.
Strong technical acumen in the Object File Storage, NFS SMB protocols space with deep interest and vision for the industry.
Solid understanding of NAS vendors and eco-system partners.
Minimum of 10 years of Pre-sales experience in IT covering both private and public sector accounts.
Exceptional level of specialized sales on File use-cases, product solution knowledge, and a solid understanding of Pure Storage competitive domain in these technologies.
Previous hands-on experience executing Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and demonstrations.
Strong understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, storage, etc., that underpins a high-performance environment.
Experience leading from the front with a reputation as an industry-respected technical evangelist with demonstrated deep expertise in key technologies.
Ability to articulate and understand customer strategy and Pure Storage solution strategy to a technical level of detail.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner to teach account teams and partners about Pure’s File solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Proficiency with G-Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
