This role involves promoting and selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to financial industry clients in Japan, building strong customer relationships, leading sales efforts, and achieving revenue targets through strategic account management and new business development.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to FSI customers in Japan
Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Develop and execute account plans leveraging internal resources to acquire new customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Lead pursuit teams and coordinate internal efforts to win new business
Understand customer business challenges and position solutions accordingly
Engage in strategic planning and manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
Drive customer success post-sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
Sales experience with the financial industry and deeply finance industry knowledge.
Ability to engage sincerely with FSI customers in Japan, understand their business challenges, and apply customer insights and technology solutions to position Pure s portfolio to solve persistent problems.
Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Pure Storage solution.
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
A track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business.
Passion for post-sales customer success.
Moderate level of English reading comprehension required to perform job-related tasks effectively.
