Job Description

This role involves promoting and selling all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to manufacturing and financial industry customers in Japan, building strong customer relationships, leading sales efforts, and driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize and promote Pure's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to manufacturing customers in Japan
  • Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and achieve high customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute account plans utilizing internal resources to acquire new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate internal efforts to win new business
  • Understand customer business challenges and position solutions accordingly
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders throughout complex sales processes
  • Drive customer success post-sale and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Sales experience with the financial industry and deep knowledge of the finance industry.
  • Ability to engage Manufacturing customers in Japan and understand their business challenges with authenticity and a genuine desire to do so.
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Pure Storage solution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Passion for post-sales customer success.
  • Moderate level of English reading comprehension required to perform job-related tasks effectively.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans, utilizing internal resources to lead pursuit teams and drive new customer acquisition.
  • Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure’s value and continually drive high customer satisfaction ratings.
