Job Description

This role involves promoting and selling innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions to manufacturing and financial industry customers in Japan, building strong customer relationships, leading sales efforts, and achieving revenue targets through strategic account management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to manufacturing customers in Japan
  • Build and invest in customer relationships to demonstrate Pure's value and achieve high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Understand customer business challenges and apply technical insights to propose suitable solutions
  • Identify and open new customer opportunities through prospecting and effective communication
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork internally and with partners
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and operational efficiency
  • Ensure post-sales customer success and ongoing relationship management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Sales experience with the financial industry and deep knowledge of the finance industry.
  • Ability to engage Manufacturing customers in Japan and understand their business challenges with authenticity and a genuine desire.
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen relationships over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • A track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
  • Demonstrated passion for post-sales customer success.
  • Moderate level of English reading comprehension sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively.
