This role involves promoting and selling all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to manufacturing and financial industry customers in Japan, building strong customer relationships, leading sales teams, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and new business development.
Key Responsibilities
Evangelize and promote Pure's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to manufacturing customers in Japan
Build and invest in relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
Manage a sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Understand customer business challenges and position solutions accordingly
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
Drive new customer acquisition and expand business within existing accounts
Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and efficiency
Ensure post-sales customer success and ongoing relationship management
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
Sales experience with the financial industry and deep knowledge of the finance industry.
Ability to engage Manufacturing customers in Japan and understand their business challenges with authenticity and a genuine desire to build relationships.
Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Pure Storage solution.
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
Consistent track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
Passion for post-sales customer success.
Moderate level of English reading comprehension required to perform job-related tasks effectively.
Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and operational efficiency.
Experience managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual sales quotas are met or exceeded.
