A sales-focused role responsible for developing new business and promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions within Japan's financial services industry, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and communicate the value of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's FSI industry.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Develop and execute account plans to maximize internal resources, lead project teams, and acquire new customers.
Manage a healthy sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements
At least 5 years of corporate sales experience, primarily focused on new customer acquisition or business development.
Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams while emphasizing teamwork.
Ability to manage a broad territory, demonstrating insight, creativity, and a challenger mindset, while leveraging knowledge of technical solutions to propose effective customer solutions through Pure s product portfolio.
Sincerity and passion to engage seriously with customers in Japan s financial services industry and SIer-focused accounts, with a strong commitment to deeply understanding their business challenges.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to build and deepen trusted relationships.
Strategic planning and execution skills aimed at maximizing revenue and improving operational efficiency within the assigned territory.
Experience developing and executing account plans that maximize internal resources, lead project teams, and drive new customer acquisition.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets and delivering business results that earn recognition and recommendations from other organizations.
Ability to manage and develop a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and sales experience within this industry is a plus.
Ability to read and understand English using translation tools (conversational English is not required but preferred).
Demonstrated commitment to customer success even after contract execution.
Willingness to work in either remote or onsite locations as indicated (LI-REMOTE, LI-ONSITE).
