Job Description

The role involves developing new business and promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions within Japan's financial services industry, focusing on building strong customer relationships, managing sales pipelines, and achieving sales targets through strategic account planning and collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and communicate the value of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's FSI industry.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize internal resources, lead project teams, and acquire new customers.
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and collaborate with internal and external teams.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of corporate sales experience, primarily focused on new customer acquisition or business development.
  • Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams while emphasizing teamwork.
  • Ability to manage a broad territory, demonstrating insight, creativity, and a challenger mindset, while leveraging knowledge of technical solutions to propose effective customer solutions through Pure s product portfolio.
  • Sincerity and passion to engage seriously with customers in Japan s financial services industry and SIer-focused accounts, with a strong commitment to deeply understanding their business challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to build and deepen trusted relationships.
  • Strategic planning and execution skills aimed at maximizing revenue and improving operational efficiency within the assigned territory.
  • Proven track record and proactive approach to new customer acquisition, with the ability to communicate effectively from executive leadership to data center operations, and passionately articulate the value of solutions.
  • Experience managing and developing customer relationships to achieve industry-leading customer satisfaction through building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans that maximize internal resources, lead project teams, and drive new customer acquisition.
  • Experience managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Experience leading and managing the sales process involving multiple stakeholders, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration.
  • A history of consistently exceeding targets and delivering business results that earn recognition and recommendations from other organizations.
  • Passion for customer success even after contract execution.
  • Ability to read and understand English using translation tools (preferred but not required).
