Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing customer engagement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues.
  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Georgia, specifically the Greater Atlanta Metro area.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Ability to lead and manage a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen customer relationships over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center environments.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers.
  • Experience leading a sales process that involves multiple stakeholders and fostering teamwork and shared ownership.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions and the ability to apply customer insights to position the company's portfolio effectively.
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to position solutions effectively.
  • Ability to evangelize and communicate the value proposition of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers.
