Job Description
The Fire Sprinkler Test Inspection Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and standards, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service fire sprinkler systems
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems
- Document detailed reports of fire inspections, violations, and recommendations
- Conduct fire code compliance follow-ups and ensure corrective actions are appropriate
- Determine the presence and location of other fire protection and building systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site
- Provide customer service and develop relationships with clients
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience performing test and inspection of Fire Sprinkler systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with applicable fire and building codes.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
