Job Description
The role involves designing and validating FPGA-based systems for satellite imaging operations, collaborating with engineering teams to develop hardware and software modules, and contributing to the development of advanced space-based data collection platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design FPGA-based data pipelines, DSP, and digital communication modules for satellite imaging systems
- Develop specifications and implement FPGA designs in collaboration with engineering teams
- Verify FPGA designs through simulation and laboratory testing
- Collaborate with electrical, RF, camera, and firmware engineers to develop hardware and software solutions
- Analyze performance, define FPGA architectures, and select appropriate components
Requirements
- Six (6) years of experience designing, verifying, and validating FPGA-based digital designs.
- Expertise in writing SystemVerilog RTL.
- Expertise in scripting and programming in Python, C, and shell.
- Hands-on test and debugging experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Advanced knowledge of version control systems (e.g., git) and managing releases to production.
- Ability to read and provide input into electrical schematics.
- This position requires access to export-controlled information, and employment or hiring of a contractor is contingent upon the candidate's ability to access all applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing being required by the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

Salary range of $162,600 - $203,200 USD (dependent on experience, skills, and location)
