Job Description
The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Planet's innovative satellite data products and solutions across various industry verticals, collaborating with sales and technical teams to craft compelling narratives, and engaging with industry audiences through events and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive demand among industry audiences in agriculture, energy, insurance, and other verticals.
- Create compelling narratives and marketing assets that resonate with target industries and support sales efforts.
- Partner with sales to develop account-specific marketing programs and content to support pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce marketing materials such as presentations, data sheets, demos, and battlecards.
- Host webinars and participate in industry events to showcase products and solutions.
- Work with technical teams to develop interactive demos and narratives for trade shows and sales outreach.
- Support co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners to expand market reach.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
- 6 years of B2B, product or solutions marketing experience
- Experience marketing to agriculture, energy or insurance industry audiences
- Track record positioning and marketing B2B enterprise products
- Exceptional listening and influence skills
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Creative and analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience partnering with product, sales, and executive stakeholders and communicating across leadership
- Excellent organizational skills and being a self-starter with the ability to collaborate across departments
