Job Description
The Sub-Contracts Manager is responsible for managing relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of Loft's satellite missions, supporting the company's goal of providing reliable and rapid space infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee sub-contracts with strategic supply base to ensure delivery on commitments
- Serve as the primary interface between Loft and its suppliers
- Ensure sub-contracts are executed within scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate with internal teams to align subcontracting activities with project goals
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize value and mitigate risks
Requirements
- Experience in managing sub-contracts and acting as the primary interface between the company and its strategic supply base.
- Ability to ensure delivery on commitments related to schedule and budget for satellite missions.
- Proven experience in overseeing supply chain and procurement activities related to space hardware or similar high-technology industries.
- Strong understanding of contract management, negotiation, and compliance within a technical or aerospace context.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders to support enterprise success.
- Experience in managing or coordinating with international suppliers and partners.
- Educational background or professional experience relevant to aerospace, engineering, or supply chain management (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
