Job Description
The role involves managing and administering global equity compensation programs, ensuring compliance, processing transactions, and providing customer service to employees and internal partners. It requires expertise in stock plan administration and attention to detail, supporting the company's financial and legal reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage global equity programs, including processing grants, stock option exercises, restricted stock releases, and terminations
- Maintain database integrity and perform monthly and quarterly accounting activities related to stock plans
- Coordinate with external record-keepers, legal counsel, and transfer agents to ensure accurate record-keeping and transaction settlement
- Ensure compliance with stock-based compensation reporting requirements and regulatory filings
- Generate reports and respond to data requests from internal and external partners
- Manage insider trading compliance, stock trading windows, and pre-clearance processes
- Support preparation of proxy statements, board materials, and audit activities related to employee equity
- Provide training and education to equity plan participants and improve onboarding processes
- Drive process improvements and scale the equity administration function while maintaining internal controls
Requirements
- Six (6) years of relevant experience with stock plan administration.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Achieved a Level III Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification.
- Experience with Morgan Stanley E Trade’s Equity Edge Online EEO platform and Morgan Stanley systems.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with a range of individuals.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of materials and information.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are required.
- Proficient in Excel, including creating reports and dashboards using PivotTables and conditional formatting.
- Proficient in G-suite Google collaboration tools.
- Experience in managing the processing of grants, stock option exercises, restricted stock releases, terminations, and other transactions related to stock plans.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with all domestic and international laws for income and tax withholdings for stock options, RSUs, and other equity grants, including accurate reporting on W-2s or other forms of participant tax reporting.
- Experience in assisting with stock-based compensation accounting, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining board and committee meeting materials related to equity programs.
- Experience in managing insider trading compliance programs, including stock trading windows, pre-clearance processes, and personnel management.
- Experience in working with external record-keepers, transfer agents, and legal counsel to execute employee equity transactions and create/update grant agreements.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with all stock-based compensation reporting requirements, including Section 16, Proxy, and Forms 10-K, 3, 4, and 5.
- Experience in supporting internal and external audit activities related to employee equity matters.

Salary range based on location and experience (e.g., $127,000 - $180,600 USD in US locations)
